How would you describe what you did at Apple?

Apple is grouping of strong, technically savvy individuals who have a love for new media and technology. I was ecstatic to work for such a company.
Apple provided an environment that enhance all of my technical and communication skills but also added to my assets.
My troubleshooting, technical
comprehension and ability to repair Apple hardware were developed twofold.
I Completed specified certifications as a Apple repair technician
Consistently provide excellent customer service in an efficient manner
Have served and continue to serve the most customers at the Genius Bar
Repair, review, & service Apple computers as well as additional Apple hardware
Manage customer flow at the Genius bar
Manage cases and workflow of repairs
Assisted fellow MG's with in store projects
Maintain peer to peer morale as well as morale with customers
Consistently seeking to improve:
Excellent troubleshooting & problem solving
Research additional online resources on behalf of customers
Improve personal TAT's,
Impress as well as educate customers
Personal knowledge amongst the Apple crew

I worked for Apple's build and release department, which ensured that all software built by Apple had its source code and build tools documented and archived. I also worked on tools for breaking down Apple's domestic software installers and turning them into internationalized software installation packages.... read more

What advice would you give to a new employee at Apple?

remember, its a very "different" company on purpose, everybody looks and acts different, but thats also the fun part about it. Be prepared to work VERY VERY long and hard, because thats what makes Apple tick.

How did you find your job at Apple?

A friend was interviewing there, and offered to drop off my resume as well. My friend wound up turning down the Apple's offer in favor of a gig at Disney. And now Steve Jobs is part of both companies....
