Apple is grouping of strong, technically savvy individuals who have a love for new media and technology. I was ecstatic to work for such a company.
Apple provided an environment that enhance all of my technical and communication skills but also added to my assets.
My troubleshooting, technical comprehension and ability to repair Apple hardware were developed twofold.

I worked for Apple's build and release department, which ensured that all software built by Apple had its source code and build tools documented and archived. I also worked on tools for breaking down Apple's domestic software installers and turning them into internationalized software installation packages....

remember, its a very "different" company on purpose, everybody looks and acts different, but thats also the fun part about it. Be prepared to work VERY VERY long and hard, because thats what makes Apple tick.

A friend was interviewing there, and offered to drop off my resume as well. My friend wound up turning down the Apple's offer in favor of a gig at Disney. And now Steve Jobs is part of both companies....
