Moving target, but I increasingly believe its got to do with using technology, specifically web-based tech, to lower (and hopefully eliminate) friction in a transaction, in a way that leaves all participants feeling empowered - and to work with those participants to make them successful. Very interesting experience, though fairly short, because I then moved to heading up an interesting e-commerce initiative for a Ford Credit / KM (India) Joint Venture... and learnt a *lot* about all the infrastructure needed to make e-commerce happen....
