What's one of the projects you worked on at CambridePort Bank?

This bank started in the late 1800's and reamined it's own entity until they sold out to a bigger bank after I left. But what was cool was working through some major growing pains. When I started they were using Windows 3.11 and some had Windows 95, then in 1999 to 2000 there was the whole Y2K thing. We had to upgrade everything. PLUS! Shortly after this the bank launched their first interactive web site that I was fortunate enough to have become a player in. Loved it!... read more

What's the best team you worked with at CambridePort Bank?

(now BankOne) in Massachussets ... this was another place that was like family working there. Most of the people I worked with were fantastic and I still miss them today.

How did you find your job at HostPro Internet Hosting?

It was magic! It was like the perfect job fell out of the sky and landed in my arms. I had just moved to Southern Cali and was less than a month looking for work when they called me. I was absolutely in Heaven!

What's your workspace like at HostPro Internet Hosting?

(now Interland in Atlanta) The L.A. office, before it relocated, was an awsome place to work and had great people to work with. I will always remember this place. Since I was the Technical Trainer for L.A. I had a lot of space to conduct my training sessions and had say in how it was built since I designed the program from the ground up. So cool!... read more

What's the best team you worked with at Venetian Hotel and Casino?

The crew in the Pastry Shop here is so awesome! I love the people in there, they were and are still like family. I moved on to IT because I thought it was something I needed to do. I thought I was getting back onto a career path that suited me, but it might be just a launching platform for new things. New is good.... read more

How did you find your job at Venetian Hotel and Casino?

Networking... well, I started here as a temp. The only way to get into these hotels is to know someone or to have a skill that is hard to find. Here it's all about networking. I targeted where I wanted to go and started meeting people in those arenas. I've been through 2 departments here and from the temp position I moved into a great job soon after. One good thing, too, is that once in you can go almost anywhere in the hotel.... read more

What's your workspace like at Venetian Hotel and Casino?

The whole building and interior is shaped odly so it makes the use of cubicles a challenge. It's crowded and with Palazio opening in a year it is getting more crowded.
