Completed two Ph.D. level courses: Genetics and Genomics and Eukaryotic Molecular Biology

Utilized sequencing and real-time PCR to detect an SNP implying a truncation mutation in a gene associated with a deviant circadian rhythm phenotype in a particular mouse strain.

I was laid-off from employment in the Geoffrey T. Swanson's Lab due to lack of available grant funding. I enjoyed working for this lab as I got the opportunity to broaden my skills in laboratory techniques from work on nucleic acids to include cell biology and protein work.

As an Evans Scholar, I received an outstanding education with an emphasis on leadership, communications, business development and personal relationships.

3.22 GPA out of 4.0 possible. Active in numerous student groups include LGBT, theater, undergrad psych assoc., and residential colleges

MS Access dba, ran queries and reports to support fund raising drives. This was a summer job.

Participated in Cooperative Education Program which resulted in 9 months of full-time employment with a civil engineering design firm prior to graduation.
